Getting in touch

Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) and – where no contractual relationship exists – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient and transparent communication).
Retention period:
The data provided when making contact will only be stored for as long as is necessary to process the enquiry. Data will only be retained beyond this period if there are statutory retention obligations or if the data is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Recipients:
Your data will be passed on exclusively to those internal departments entrusted with processing your enquiry. Where external service providers (e.g. hosting or IT service providers) are involved, this takes place exclusively within the framework of data processing on behalf of the controller in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

What happens to my data when I make a guest enquiry
When contacting Hotel Alpina (for example, via the contact form or by email), the following user details may be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise: title, first name and surname, postal address, email address, telephone number and details relating to the enquiry (e.g. dates of stay, number of people, etc.).

The personal data collected in this way will be deleted by the operator within 2 years of the enquiry being processed. The personal data provided by the user will be processed and used by Hotel Alpina only to the extent necessary for handling the enquiry and/or providing the requested service.

In the course of this data processing, it may be necessary to pass on the personal data collected to the following third parties:

Retention period:
The retention period for the data collected depends on the settings configured in Google Analytics 4 and shall not exceed the periods specified by Google. Event data is automatically deleted as soon as the specified retention period has elapsed.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings on this website.

IP anonymisation
We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled. This means that your IP address is truncated before further processing, so that it cannot be easily linked to you personally.
In exceptional cases, a full IP address may be transmitted to a Google server and truncated there. Google uses the processed information to analyse website usage, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website usage.

Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’).

Google Tag Manager allows various so-called tags to be easily inserted into the website. When you visit our website, software establishes a connection to Google’s servers and transmits data to Google’s servers, some of which are located in the USA. Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies.

Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do so, we require your email address, first name, surname and your confirmation that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process information you have provided voluntarily regarding your areas of interest, address, date of birth and, where applicable, other fields. As soon as you have signed up for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email containing a link to confirm your subscription. We will then immediately delete your data relating to the newsletter.

Google Ads
This website uses Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising programme provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

As part of Google Ads, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an advert placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the web browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this website whilst the cookie is still valid, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the advert and was redirected to that page.

Each Google Ads customer is assigned a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information collected via the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and been redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.
