Alpina Cancellation Service:
For just €3.50 per person per booked night’s accommodation, you are covered for all hotel-related cancellation costs in the event of cancellation or curtailment of your trip in the following cases:
- Unexpected illness, accident or death of the insured person
A doctor’s certificate, hospital certificate or death certificate must be provided
- Death of a family member
A death certificate must be provided
- Children travelling with you aged 14 and under (unless they are staying in their own room) are automatically covered if the accompanying adults have taken out the cancellation service.
This service cannot be booked from 22 December to 6 January.
Arrival and departure:
Your room will be available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of departure. Half-board begins with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure. The gourmet board package begins with an afternoon snack on the day of arrival and also ends with breakfast on the day of departure.
Deposits:
A 10 per cent deposit, subject to a minimum of €100.00, is required for every booking; over Christmas and New Year’s Eve, a 20 per cent deposit is required, which can be paid by credit card or bank transfer.
In the event of cancellation, the deposit will remain in your holiday account or a voucher will be sent to you. We reserve the right to deduct a €20.00 processing fee when refunding the deposit.

Single room:
‘Grand Lit’ single suite, price list as per description. Double rooms may also be booked for single occupancy on request; for this, we charge a surcharge of 40%–50%.
Basis of every booking
Bookings are generally made in writing, by post, fax or email. In exceptional cases, they may also be made by telephone. The sole basis for every booking is acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel set out in the currently valid price list, which simultaneously supersedes all previous publications.
Dogs:
Dogs weighing up to 40 kg are welcome on request in the following room categories: Garten 1st Floor, Almsonne, Bergliebe, Zirben & Honeymoon Suite. We assume that your four-legged friend is suitable for a hotel stay. We charge €22.00 per day for your dog (excluding food). Please bring your own basket, blanket or other sleeping accessories. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in some rooms, in the wellness area or on the sunbathing lawn.
In the “Alt Tyrol” restaurant – more specifically, in the Tiroler & Schildknecht Stube – your dog is welcome to stay quietly under your table. Should any problems nevertheless arise, we reserve the right to ask the dog to leave the restaurant. Please let us know at the time of booking if you wish to bring your dog with you for a meal; otherwise, there may be no space available in the aforementioned dining rooms at short notice. We reserve the right to charge additional costs for excessive soiling, damage or any necessary final cleaning.
Short stays:
Please note that for bookings of short stays of up to 3 nights, the room category may be subject to slight changes. This means that the category may vary within a similar price range, subject to availability. We thank you for your understanding and assure you that we always strive to offer you a pleasant stay.
Minimum stay:
We generally require a minimum stay of 2 nights at our hotel; however, during public holidays and peak seasons, a longer minimum stay (from 3 or 4 nights) may apply. Bookings over Christmas are possible for a minimum of 4 nights, over New Year’s Eve for a minimum of 7 nights, and during Carnival week for a minimum of 5 nights. If you are only able to visit us for one night, please feel free to enquire whether we can offer you a bespoke quote for one night, subject to availability.
Cancellation or rebooking:
Free rebooking or cancellation 28 days before arrival
50% cancellation fee from 27 days to 8 days before arrival
70% cancellation fee from 7 days to 1 day before arrival cancellation fee
From 1 day before arrival or in the event of early departure: 85% cancellation fee
Amended cancellation terms for the period from 22 December to 6 January:
- Up to 3 months before arrival: free rebooking
Cancellation:
From the time the booking is finalised (receipt of deposit) up to 3 months before arrival: 5% cancellation fee
3 months to 1 month before arrival: 20% cancellation fee
30 days to 7 days before arrival: 60% cancellation fee
from 7 days to 2 days before arrival: 80% cancellation fee
from 1 day before arrival or in the event of early departure: 90% of the agreed fee will be charged
Cancellations or rebookings can only be made in writing. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a voucher for the amount of any deposit paid, which can be redeemed for a new date of your choice.
Terms of payment:
The booking is confirmed in our room allocation once the deposit has been paid. The remaining hotel bill must be paid before departure in cash, by debit card or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard); partial payments are possible at any time.
Room or table requests will be taken into account where possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
Smoking:
The entire hotel is non-smoking. You are welcome to enjoy a cigarette on our terrace or on the balcony.
New Year’s Eve surcharge:
€85.00 per person
Liability:
In accordance with Austrian hotel regulations, we are liable for the proper fulfilment of the services listed.
Place of jurisdiction:
Kitzbühel District Court in Tyrol.
